Ocean Highway & Port Authority seeks input on lots for sale

501 North 3rd Street
Monday August 28
5 - 7 pm

OHPA is selling 15 lots of record embedded in the Historic District and has received proposals from Commercial Brokers and now seeks community input. The proposal presentations mentioned everything from single family homes to multi-family, re-zoning, townhomes, apartments and multi-story structures.

Mark your calendar for a drop in meeting to learn more and officially register your comments Monday August 28th from 5-7pm. See the official notice below. Comments will be tabulated and presented to OHPA for consideration as they move forward with the sale of these lots. This is not just a port related item but can potentially affect development throughout the city.

The notice from OHPA is “The Ocean Highway & Port Authority of Nassau County Florida is happy to invite members of the public to this community meeting at 501 North 3rd Street on Monday August 28th from 5-7pm for discussion of development plans and selling of 3 parcels in the Historic District. Please be advised that the meeting location is a vacant, unimproved parcel of land. All visitors should wear proper clothing and footwear and be aware of their surroundings. Please take care to avoid any obstacles, materials & equipment, uneven surfaces, holes, fencing, roots, tree stumps and similar such items that may cause injury, imbalance or falls."
